The Warsaw University of Life Sciences is a modern university and a recognized, constantly developing research and expert center with huge scientific potential. By implementing a program of activities aimed at cooperation between higher education and the business community, it tries to integrate the University’s environment with the enterprise sector, as well as government and local government administration.
The mission of the University is also the intelligent transfer of research results and developed solutions to the economic environment. Well-prepared, experienced scientific staff and specialized laboratories with the most modern equipment guarantee that work is carried out at the highest world level. Research carried out at the University focuses primarily on the fields of science: agriculture and horticulture; forest science; food and nutrition technology; zootechnics and fishing; veterinary; biological sciences; civil engineering and transport; environmental engineering, mining, and energy; mechanical engineering; technical informatics and telecommunications; economics and finance; sociological sciences and pedagogy. The university places great emphasis on innovation and development, thanks to which it is recognized among business practitioners representing the sector of small, medium, and large enterprises.
The Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) works to facilitate the transfer of innovative technologies and knowledge from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences to the business environment, in particular through direct commercialization and support in the implementation of works commissioned for entrepreneurs. To make it easier for entrepreneurs, the first contact with the University was prepared: TEMPLATE OF THE COOPERATION AGREEMENT. It presents possible forms of mutual interaction and common challenges for science and business.
