Dear PhD Students, and all interested parties!

 

In just a week, we are starting a series of seminars in English led by Professor Sulhattin Yaşar from Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University!

 

Prof. Sulhattin Yaşar is a respected scientist with over 50 publications in renowned journals worldwide. His areas of expertise include food engineering and industrial biotechnology, with a particular emphasis on food and feed fermentation technology. He is an expert in animal nutrition, food safety, and risk assessment.

 

This marks the second edition of seminars that Prof. Yaşar is conducting for doctoral students at the Doctoral School of SGGW and all those interested. Last year, the seminars were part of the project “Actions towards internationalization of the Doctoral School of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW,” supported by the Doctoral School of SGGW and the National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA.

 

This year, taking advantage of his visit to our university, Prof. Sulhattin Yaşar proposes the following topics:

 

28/11/2023 (Tuesday), 17:00 – Risk Assessment of Chemicals used in Food and Feed Materials

29/11/2023 (Wednesday), 17:00 – Analytical Method Development and Validation

05/12/2023 (Tuesday), 17:00 – Design of Experiments and Advanced Statistical Analysis of Scientific Data: Applications in MINITAB

07/12/2023 (Thursday), 17:00 – Practical Applications of Infrared Spectroscopy for the characterizations and quantifications of organic and biological samples

 

The seminars will take place at the Main Library of SGGW, in the 4Team room (entrance C, stairs up, entrance through the reading room to the group work area). Certificates of participation will be provided for attendees!
