Water Alerts with the participation of scientists from Warsaw University of Life Sciences

Poland’s water resources are among the lowest in Europe. Deficiencies in water management may become a serious barrier to socio-economic development. As part of the Open Eyes Economy Summit initiative, outstanding specialists, including scientists from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, have developed Water Alerts, in which they discuss in detail: the state, threats and needs for action in the field of water management.

Polish agriculture depends largely on rain. The time and area diversified water resources of our country are not enough for mass irrigation of crops that may be needed in a changing climate. If we do not take effective action, we may run out of food produced domestically.... Czytaj więcej
