The Innovation Incubator<\/strong> is a Programme of the Minister of Science and Higher Education <\/strong>which aims to support scientific sector actors (including Universities) in the implementation of projects aimed at applying the results of scientific research and development in the economic or social sphere, consisting of:
1. Initiating and strengthening cooperation between the scientific community and the economic environment.
2 Preparation of projects for the commercialization of research and development results.
3. Technology portfolio management including in particular:
(a) monitoring and analyzing the results of scientific research or development in terms of their practical usefulness,
(b) analyzing market needs for the selection of research or development topics and state-of-the-art studies prior to the start of such research or work,
c ) keeping a database on the research projects carried out, the results achieved and their applicability in the economic or social sphere,
(d) analyzing the possibilities for obtaining patent protection and the possibility of commercializing the results of research and development before their publication;
4 Conducting pre-implementation work, including additional laboratory tests or adapting the invention to the needs of the buyer concerned.
5 Identifying innovation brokers acting as intermediaries in specific areas of knowledge, responsible for establishing cooperation between the scientific community and the economic environment leading to the application of the results of research and development in the economic or social sphere.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

32 pre-implementation projects were carried out;
Two training courses were organised with the Patent Attorney
The Project Team and scientists participated in numerous meetings with external entities and took part in the fair, presenting the implementation offer of SGGW
SGGW researchers reported 38 solutions for potential protection
8 licenses granted for SGGW inventions
Contracts have been concluded for the sale of 3 plant varieties and 3 contracts for the use of know-how

A total of 12 pre-implementation projects were carried out (SGGW- 9, Oncotransfer \u2013 3);
patent training was organised for employees and students of both consortia
intellectual property management rules have been implemented
technical support was provided to scientific teams implementing implementation projects with a view to the practical application of the results of the research
SGGW scientists have submitted 32 inventions for patent protection, 1 know-how and 3 new plant varieties;
27 applications for inventive projects were submitted by SGGW scientists to the UPRP;
3 sales contracts have been concluded for the variety of the plant; 1 contract for the sale of 3 industrial designs;
a patent sale agreement has been concluded
19 research service contracts have been signed; 36 cooperation agreements with third parties have been concluded.

The new Incubator will run from 2020 to 2022. Consortium: National Institute of Oncology in Warsaw. Main assumptions:
Funding of at least 10 pre-implementation works in SGGW
At least 10 patent applications
At least 31 forms of cooperation with business (contracts, research services)
Creation of at least 1 spin-off company in SGGW
Conducting training in the field of i.a.. cooperation between science and business
At least 5 technology valuations
