The Warsaw University of Life Sciences is the oldest life sciences university in Poland. Its origins date back to 1816 and played a key part in the establishment of the Agronomic Institute in Marymont. The beginnings of the university are also associated with education in the field of veterinary sciences. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences originated from the Veterinary School near Warsaw, established on July 17, 1824 under the name of “Government Institute of Veterinary Medicine in Burak\u00f3w near Warsaw”.\u00a0 In 2016, 200 years have passed since the\u00a0 agricultural education was started in the\u00a0 Agronomic Institute at two levels: higher education for future economists and managers, as well as sons of landowners, and elementary school – for future qualified workers.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
