Transfer from another university<\/strong><\/p>

The transfer admission rules are regulated by the SGGW Study Regulations, Chapter 5 \u00a7 21.<\/p>

To be considered, the candidate needs to meet the following criteria:<\/p>

  • has not been removed from the list of students of the current university,<\/li>
  • has completed at least 1 full-time semester (with all the credits),<\/li>
  • has fulfilled all the obligations resulting from the regulations in force at the current university.<\/li><\/ul>

    The student applying for admission as part of the transfer process should submit a set of the following documents to the vice-dean of the chosen Faculty, and in the case of a foreign student to the rector through the vice-dean:<\/p>

    • transfer application,<\/li>
    • consent and opinion of the entity managing the organizational unit of the current university,<\/li>
    • previous course of study certified by the current University,<\/li>
    • in the case of applying for admission as part of a transfer to first-cycle or long-cycle master’s studies:
      – a Polish maturity certificate or
      – an IB diploma or
      – an EB diploma or
      – a certificate confirming the completion of education in a foreign education system, confirming secondary education and the right to apply for admission to higher education in the country of issue, recognized in Poland by law or on the basis of an international agreement or by The NAWA’s Director individual recognition statements on secondary education certificates confirming the right to apply for admission to first-cycle studies or long-cycle studies,<\/li><\/ul>
      • in the case of applying for admission as part of a transfer to second-cycle studies:
        – a diploma of completion of first-cycle studies or a long-cycle master’s degree program,
        – a diploma confirming completion of higher education studies in a foreign education system, entitling the holder to continue education in second-cycle studies in the country in whose higher education system the issuing institution operates, or entitling the holder to continue education in Poland based on an international agreement, or recognized as equivalent to the relevant Polish diploma through nostrification,
        – a official transcript of grades to the above-mentioned diploma (an official document containing a list of grades and subjects completed throughout the course of study, ECTS credits or their equivalents, and the average of all final grades in the subjects covered by the study program),<\/li><\/ul>
        • a certificate of English language proficiency at a minimum level of B2, in the case of applying for admission to studies conducted in English,<\/li>
        • sworn translation into Polish of documents confirming education and a language certificate if the documents are issued in a foreign language other than English,<\/li>
        • documents confirming education and the language certificate must be submitted in original so that their copies can be certified by SGGW as true copies of the originals,<\/li>
        • a document confirming the change of name\/surname (available for review) \u2013 applies to candidates who changed their name and\/or surname after obtaining a document confirming education or a language certificate.<\/li><\/ul>

          Foreigners, in addition, submit:<\/p>

          • a certificate of Polish language proficiency at a minimum level of B2, in the case of applying for admission to studies conducted in Polish,<\/li>
          • a declaration of being authorized to study on a tuition fee-paying basis, in the case of an application for full-time studies in Polish. The document of being entitled to be exempt from fees should be available for review.<\/li><\/ul>

            Application deadline:<\/strong>
            before the start of the semester to which the transfer would be made and on a date enabling the commencement of studies in that semester.<\/p>

            The decision on the transfer admission is made by the vice-dean of the Faculty, and in the case of foreign students \u2013 by the rector, after consulting the vice-dean.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
