We are very happy to inform that the State Forests have become the strategic partner of the Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) international scientific conference entitled \u201eGreen (r)evolution \u2013 form molecules to ecosystems\u201d to be held on 19-20 November at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.<\/p>

The State Forests is the largest organisation in the European Union which manages forests owned by the State Treasury. They pursue their activities on one fourth of the area of Poland. They look after biodiversity of forests, protect them against many threats and also take care of forest management. One of the basic tasks of the State Forests is to make forests available to society.<\/p>

The ELLS is an international network of leading universities of natural sciences cooperating in the areas of management of natural resources, agricultural and forest sciences, natural sciences, sciences on animals, food, environment and rural development. The ELLS is composed of the seven best European member universities and three non-European partner universities \u2013 from China, Israel and New Zealand.<\/p>

The objective of the Euroleague for Life Sciences and of annual conferences it organises is to strengthen cooperation among universities, make students become closer and allow them to work in an international context, as well as to develop opportunities for scientific cooperation.<\/p>

The \u201eGreen (r)evolution \u2013 form molecules to ecosystems\u201d conference will be attended by about 300 persons from all over the world. This event will be an excellent opportunity to discuss, inter alia<\/em>, threats resulting from climate change and solutions with respect to environmental protection.<\/p>
