Director of the SGGW Main Library, named after W\u0142adys\u0142aw Grabski, Dr. Wojciech Wo\u017aniak was appointed to the Library Council of the National Institute of Polish Rural Culture and Heritage in Warsaw.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

The constituent meeting of the Library Council was held on 8 February 2022 at the seat of the Institute.\u00a0During the meeting, the Library Council chairmen were elected.\u00a0Dr. Tomasz Makowski, director of the National Library, was appointed the chairman,\u00a0while Dr. Wojciech Wo\u017aniak, director of the SGGW Main Library was elected the deputy chairman.\u00a0Moreover, the following challenges facing the Institute\u2019s library were discussed:\u00a0cataloging the collection,<\/p>

adaptation of library rooms at the palace in Pu\u0142awy,\u00a0digitization of the book collection,\u00a0and the development of The Food Economy Information System database (SIG\u017b).<\/p>

The following council meeting is scheduled for the turn of March and April.<\/p>

The Library Council is composed of:<\/p>

Dr. Tomasz Makowski, Director of the National Library, Chairman<\/p>

Dr. Wojciech Wo\u017aniak, Director of the SGGW Main Library, deputy chairman<\/p>

Dr. in\u017c. Paulina Studzi\u0144ska-Jaksim, Director of the Main Library of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin,<\/p>

Pawe\u0142 Jakubiec, Director of the Main Library of the University of Agriculture in Krakow,<\/p>

Mariusz Olczak, Director of the Central Archives of Modern Records.<\/p>
