Part I.<\/b><\/p>

11.00 a.m. the opening of the event – greeting visitors by Dr. Wojciech Wo\u017aniak, the Library\u00a0 Director;<\/span><\/p>

11.05 a.m.\u00a0 prof. dr hab. Kazimierz Tomala\u2019s speech, Vice-Rector for Development;<\/span><\/p>

11.15 a.m. presentation of the NBP collector’s coin “The Great Polish economists – W\u0142adys\u0142aw Grabski” by Ms Ewa Waszkiewicz, Director of the NBP Regional Branch in Warsaw.<\/span><\/p>

Part II<\/b><\/p>

11.45 a.m. – 01.00 p.m. The Speakers\u2019 lectures (25 minutes each);\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

11.45 a.m. – 12.10 p.m. prof. dr hab. Marian Marek Drozdowski – “W\u0142adys\u0142aw Grabski’s contribution to the Polish economic and political culture”<\/span><\/p>

12.10 a.m. – 12.35 p.m. prof. dr hab. Kazimierz Korab – “W\u0142adys\u0142aw Grabski as a sociologist”<\/span><\/p>

12.35 p.m. – 01.00 p.m. prof. dr hab. Tomasz Borecki – “W\u0142adys\u0142aw Grabski as an academic teacher”<\/span><\/p>

Part III<\/b><\/p>

01.00 p.m. – 02.00 p.m. Exhibition \/ Refreshments (cold catering + drinks) 13.00-14.00<\/span><\/p>

The event is accompanied by an exhibition entitled \u201cA self-portrait of the Polish Zloty. Images of the Polish banknotes and coins from 1919 – 1924\u201d, prepared by the SGGW Museum<\/span><\/p>

in cooperation with the NBP.<\/span><\/p>

The exhibition consists of over a dozen boards presenting banknotes and treasury bills that were used after the introduction of Grabski’s currency reform, along with a short description of their history.<\/span><\/p>
