The lectures should focus on Polish Studies, including Polish language teaching and Polish culture. Teaching fellows may also undertake or continue their research while lecturing.<\/p><p><strong>There are\u00a0no restrictions\u00a0to fields of study\/research for any of the above grants and fellowships.<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0The Kosciuszko Foundation follows a policy of equal opportunity and does not discriminate against any person because of sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or age.<\/p><p><strong>Only Polish citizens and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thekf.org\/kf\/scholarships\/exchange-us\/faqs\/\">Karta Polaka&#8221; holders<\/a>* permanently residing in Poland<\/strong>\u00a0are eligible. Poles living outside of Poland may NOT participate in this program.<\/p><p>Dual citizens (the United States and Poland) as well as individuals holding the United States permanent residency status (Green Card) are not eligible.\u00a0For scholarships for American citizens, please visit our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thekf.org\/kf\/scholarships\/about\/\"><strong>Domestic Scholarships Programs<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p><p>Applicants must hold an\u00a0<strong>M.A. or M.S. degree prior to the commencement date of the award.<\/strong>\u00a0The preference is given to doctoral or postdoctoral candidates.\u00a0<\/p><p>Candidates need to submit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thekf.org\/kf\/scholarships\/exchange-us\/faqs\/\"><strong>a certificate of employment or enrollment in doctoral studies\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>issued by a Polish academic institution.<\/p><p>Applicants must have\u00a0<strong>strong English language proficiency<\/strong>, sufficient to participate effectively in formal and informal conversations on practical, social, and professional topics and to carry out the proposed study\/research. The program helps researchers to garner expertise, practical knowledge and skills that they can bring back to Poland. Every year, we award approximately 40 scholars with grants and fellowships worth over $400,000.
