Prof. dr hab. Danuta Ko\u0142o\u017cyn-Krajewska, Department of Human Nutrition, Institute of Human Nutrition Sciences, was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the<\/b> Uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego w Lublinie<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>

The ceremony took place on 25 October 2022 at the Congress Center of the UP, at ul. Akademicka 15, Lublin.<\/strong><\/p>

<\/strong><\/p>

Prof. <\/strong>dr hab. Danuta Ko\u0142o\u017cyn-Krajewska<\/b> works at the Institute of Food Sciences, SGGW, and the Faculty of Dietetics and Food Science, Jan D\u0142ugosz University Cz\u0119stochowa.<\/span><\/p>

The professor’s scientific interests include the quality of food, mainly microbiological aspects, prognostic microbiology, probiotics and probiotic food, meat technology, food production hygiene and quality assurance systems and quality management in food processing. <\/span>Professor Ko\u0142ozyn-Krajewska has published about 600 scientific and popular science works, textbooks, and books, and 10 patents.<\/span><\/p>

Projects<\/b><\/p>

A partner in the Leonardo da Vinci, Concerted Action, Flair Flow Europe (National Network Leader) projects, PHARE and DOLCETA (expert) projects and a reviewer evaluating projects in FP 6 and 7.<\/span><\/p>

PROM. Leader of the NCBiR Consortium “Social Innovations” Nr \/ IS-1\/031 \/ NCBR \/ 2014 A model of reducing food loss and waste for the benefit of society 2014-2017.<\/span><\/p>

A manager of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development grant: <\/span>Processing of plant and animal products with ecological methods;\u00a0<\/span>research on the optimization and development of innovative processing solutions to increase the value of health-promoting organic products, 2017.<\/span><\/p>

R&D manager of the NCBiR project in the Gospostrateg competition (2018-2021) “Development of a food waste monitoring system and creation of an effective development program for food loss and waste reduction”.<\/span><\/p>

Head of the Department of Food Hygiene and Quality Management, Institute of Food Sciences, SGGW.<\/span><\/p>

In 2005-2012, head of the Interfaculty Studies of Commodity Science, SGGW.<\/span><\/p>

Vice-president of the Polish Accreditation Committee of the Scientific Board of the Polish Society of Food Technologists (two terms).<\/span><\/p>

Member of the Committee on Food and Nutrition Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences.<\/span><\/p>
