Scientists will be able to submit applications for research grants in the OPUS 20 (including LAP), SONATA 16 and PRELUDIUM BIS 2 calls.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

OPUS 20<\/strong><\/p>\n

The competition is open to all scientists, regardless of the stage of their scientific career, who plan to implement research projects without the participation of foreign partners, projects with the use of large international research devices by Polish research teams. The budget of the OPUS 20 call (including LAP) is PLN 450 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

SONATA 16<\/strong><\/p>\n

The competition is intended for scientists who obtained a doctoral degree in the period from 2 to 7 years before the year of applying for funding. The main goal of the program is to support people starting their scientific careers in conducting innovative research
of a basic nature with the use of modern equipment or an original methodological solution. Applicants may apply for funding for 12, 24 or 36-month research projects. The competition budget is PLN 100 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

PRELUDIUM BIS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The competition is aimed at entities running doctoral schools. The aim of the program is to support the education of doctoral students and to finance ongoing research projects
as part of their doctoral dissertations. The maximum amount of financing for one project in the PRELUDIUM BIS call may be PLN 180,000.
The call will fund projects lasting 36 or 48 months. The PRELUDIUM BIS competition also supports the international mobility of doctoral students who are required to complete a 3 to 6-month foreign research internship financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). The budget of the competition is<\/strong> PLN 100 million<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

The call for proposals in all competitions is conducted via the OSF electronic system.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

The application deadline is December 15, 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n

NOTE: The call for proposals in the ZSUN \/ OSF system closes at 16:00.<\/strong><\/p>\n
