Prof. Tomasz Okruszko, Vice-Rector for Science, SGGW, and Mateusz Balcerowicz, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Pa\u0144stwowe Gospodarstwo Wodne Wody Polskie, signed an agreement on cooperation in the area of water management, in research, education and human resources.<\/b><\/p>

The agreement defines the principles of long-term cooperation between SGGW and PGW Wody Polskie to make the best possible use of the capacities of both institutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The cooperation between SGGW and PGW Wody Polskie includes, in particular:<\/span><\/p>

  • sharing knowledge with a particular focus on competence development<\/span><\/li>
  • undertaking joint research and teaching projects<\/span><\/li>
  • giving an opinion on educational programmes<\/span><\/li>
  • consulting on proposals for thesis topics<\/span><\/li>
  • undertaking joint efforts to set up postgraduate studies on water management in line with the objectives of the Water Framework Directive<\/span><\/li>
  • organising student traineeships and field educational activities in the PGW Wody Polskie facilities that are in operation, under construction, being rebuilt and improved<\/span><\/li>
  • informing SGGW students about the current recruitment of PGW Wody Polskie staff<\/span><\/li>
