SGGW expands collaboration with Ghanaian universities. The visit of the Vice-Rector for Internationalisation, SGGW Prof. Marta Mendel to Kumasi and Cape Coast was an opportunity to discuss achievements to date and plans for the future. Through the Erasmus+ and Katamaran programmes, the partnership with Kumasi Technical University and Cape Coast Technical University is gaining momentum, opening up new opportunities for students and researchers.<\/h6>

The recent visit of the Vice-rector for Internationalization, SGGW Prof. Marta Mendel to Kumasi and Cape Coast, Ghana, provided a valuable opportunity to evaluate recent achievements and discuss strategies for further developing the partnership between the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and Kumasi Technical University<\/u> (KsTU),<\/a><\/span> as well as Cape Coast Technical University<\/u><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>

The collaboration between these institutions extends beyond the Erasmus+ mobility program. It encompasses doctoral students from KsTU and a joint study program leading to a double degree in environmental engineering. This initiative will be implemented under the Katamaran program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange<\/a><\/span>. The most recent joint endeavor involves a collaborative application for an Erasmus+ project aimed at strengthening the capacities of Ghanaian universities in the field of environmental engineering.<\/p>

The meetings at KsTU were chaired by the Rector, Professor Gabriel Dwomoh. A key facilitator of the partnership between KsTU and SGGW is Professor Addo Koranteng, an alumnus and former doctoral student of SGGW in the discipline of forestry.<\/p>
