On 19 February 2026 in Bogor, Indonesia, the Warsaw University of Life Sciences \u2013 SGGW and IPB University signed a cooperation agreement to implement a joint Master\u2019s programme entitled Landscape Architecture under Climate Change. The programme will be offered as a double degree.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The agreement sets out the principles for implementing and delivering a second-cycle programme in English in landscape architecture, with particular focus on the challenges posed by climate change. Upon successful completion of all programme requirements, graduates will receive diplomas from both universities.<\/p>

On behalf of SGGW, the agreement was signed by Dr. hab. Marta Mendel, Prof. SGGW, Vice-Rector for Internationalization. IPB University<\/a><\/span> was represented by Dr. Alim Setiawan Slamet, Rector of IPB University.<\/p>

The agreement was concluded within the framework of the KATAMARAN programme funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA<\/a><\/span>). The project is coordinated by SGGW in cooperation with its Indonesian partner and will run until 31 March 2026.<\/p>

The new programme is designed to educate specialists capable of planning and managing space under changing climate conditions. The curriculum, jointly developed by both universities, ensures high academic standards and combines European and Asian perspectives.<\/p>

The Landscape Architecture under Climate Change programme will be delivered as a full-time course in English. It includes student mobility and close cooperation between the academic staff of both institutions. Participation in the programme will provide students with international experience, foster intercultural competencies, and enhance graduates\u2019 competitiveness in the labour market.<\/p>

The meeting was also attended by Dr. hab. Justyna Franc-D\u0105browska, Prof. SGGW, Director of the SGGW Doctoral School.
