This year\u2019s SGGW Days feature a rich programme of artistic, scientific, and educational events addressed to the entire academic community as well as the residents of Warsaw. We will gradually reveal the details, starting with a new highlight \u2013 the International Dance Couples Festival. The PROMNI Ensemble is launching its own festival, with the first edition taking place during SGGW Days.<\/p>

PROMNI International Dance Couples Festival<\/strong><\/p>

The PROMNI Ensemble can boast more than 50 years of tradition and numerous awards, and it continues to seek new artistic challenges. Its leading solo couples have for years been refining their skills in Polish dance competitions, gaining recognition and experience on national stages. Today, however, they are looking further afield, aiming to confront their abilities with the international elite, and are inviting the best dance couples from around the world to participate in their own PROMNI International Dance Couples Festival.<\/p>

During this year\u2019s edition of the PROMNI International Dance Couples Festival, the audience will have the opportunity to admire the artistry and talent of performers from Mexico, Mongolia, Senegal, Hungary, Kosovo, Albania, and Ukraine.<\/p>

On May 15 and 16, festival performances will take place during SGGW Days. On May 17, the dancers will perform in Czechowicki Park and at the Pruszk\u00f3w Cultural Centre.<\/p>

Concert \u201cOtdih\u201d, SGGW Choir, Schola Cantorum Aristotele Pacini, SGGW Representative Orchestra<\/strong><\/p>

Music lovers are warmly invited to a concert by the SGGW Representative Orchestra, which will take place on May 15 at 1:00 p.m., immediately after the official ceremony held in the Crystal Hall.<\/p>

The following day, May 16, the SGGW Choir and the SGGW Representative Orchestra will perform on the stage in front of the Rector\u2019s Palace. Then, at 7:00 p.m., at the Palace of the Republic at 3\/5 Krasi\u0144ski Square in Warsaw, the concert \u201cOtdih\u201d will be performed by the SGGW Choir, Schola Cantorum Aristotele Pacini, and the SGGW Representative Orchestra. The programme will feature contemporary choral music from Central and Eastern Europe. The event will be conducted by: Giulia Bascelli, Micha\u0142 Kosikowski \u2013 winner of the auction to conduct the SGGW Choir during this year\u2019s Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, as well as Tomasz Cepiel and Pawe\u0142 Choina. Admission to the concert is by invitation only.<\/p>
