On 11 May 2026, a Demo Day event\u00a0<\/span>organized<\/span>\u00a0by the Technology Transfer Center of\u00a0<\/span>Warsaw<\/span> University of Life <\/span>Sciences<\/span>\u00a0(SGGW)\u00a0<\/span>took<\/span>\u00a0
place\u00a0<\/span>at<\/span>\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span>university\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>main<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>library<\/span>. The event <\/span>brought<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>together<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>representatives<\/span> of design <\/span>agencies<\/span> and business <\/span>community<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>interested<\/span> in modern <\/span>solutions<\/span>\u00a0for\u00a0<\/span>sustainable <\/span>urban<\/span>\u00a0
<\/span>infrastructure<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Innovation\u00a0of the\u00a0Green\u00a0Infrastructure\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

The\u00a0main\u00a0goal\u00a0of the event was to\u00a0present\u00a0the\u00a0BlueGreenWay\u00a0Anti-Compression\u00a0Stone-Soil\u00a0Mixture\u00a0(patent no. 248629), a\u00a0solution\u00a0designed\u00a0to\u00a0support\u00a0the development of\u00a0green\u00a0infrastructure\u00a0in\u00a0urban\u00a0areas. The\u00a0mixture\u00a0increases\u00a0the\u00a0resilience\u00a0of plant\u00a0root\u00a0systems\u00a0in\u00a0challenging\u00a0urban\u00a0conditions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The solution was developed by dr. hab. eng. prof. Marzena Suchocka, representing the Department of Landscape Architecture at Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). The technology is protected by a patent in Poland, and the procedure for obtaining European patent protection is currently in the progress.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>


From\u00a0Research\u00a0to Market\u00a0Implementation\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

The Demo Day presentation was part of a broader market launch strategy. The BlueGreenWay solution is already being applied in practice, three licensing agreements have been signed, and the first implementations have been carried out in Warsaw and Komor\u00f3w.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

It is also worth noting that in November 2025, the project received prestigious awards during the Economic Challenges Forum Gala in Katowice. The solution was awarded the title of \u201cSymbol of the year 2025,\u201d while its creator was recognized as a \u201cScientist of the Year 2025.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The event was attended by representatives of companies and institutions cooperating with the design sector, including: Wokas S.A., Healthy Place Sp. z o.o., RPS Architekci, Uni-Arcz Sp. z o.o., Instalnika Sp. z o.o., Peakside Sp. z o.o., and Biotop Service Sp. z o.o..<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>


Project Funding\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

On 11 May 2026, a Demo Day event organized by the Technology Transfer Center of Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) took place at the university\u2019s main library.
