Collaboration between SGGW and Kumasi Technical University
SGGW expands collaboration with Ghanaian universities. The visit of the Vice-Rector for Internationalisation, SGGW Prof. Marta Mendel to Kumasi and Cape Coast was an opportunity to discuss achievements to date and plans for the future. Through the Erasmus+ and Katamaran programmes, the partnership with Kumasi Technical University and Cape Coast Technical University is gaining momentum, opening up new opportunities for students and researchers.

A revolution in the treatment of solid tumours – groundbreaking research by Prof Magdalena Król’s team published in Nature Communications
Researchers from the Centre for Cell Immunotherapy at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, led by Prof Magdalena Król, have discovered that could revolutionise the treatment of solid tumours. They have developed an innovative Macrophage-Drug Conjugate (MDC) technology - a breakthrough platform that turns macrophages into precise carriers of anti-cancer drugs.

Gregory Phelan Best Foreign Student in Poland
On 30 January 2025, during a gala accompanying the annual conference ‘Foreign Students in Poland’, hosted by the University of Gdansk, awards were presented to the Best Foreign Students in Poland - the Interstudent 2025 competition in the master's degree category was won by Gregory Phelan - a fifth-year student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at SGGW.
