“Four Elements – contemporary problems in life sciences”

On December 12, 2025, the 8th Doctoral Conference, “Four Elements – Contemporary Problems in the Life Sciences,” took place. Ten doctoral students from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) participated. Of the three doctoral students recognized for their scientific achievements, two are representatives of the SGGW Doctoral School. These include Joanna Kobus, M.A., for her thesis “Management of Selected Lignocellulosic Food Industry Waste in Yarrowi Yeast Culture” and Cezary Wawryło, M.A., for his thesis “Green Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles Using Roasted Coffee Beans: Comparison of the Properties of Two Synthesis Variants.”

Institute of Agrophysics Polish Academy of Sciences together with Warsaw Uniwersity of Live Sciences cordially invite you to the VIII Doctoral Students Conference titled “Four Elements – Contemporary Problems in Life Sciences”.

The conference will take place on 12 December 2025, online via Zoom platform.

The conference is aimed at doctoral students conducting research in the field of agriculture, forestry, veterinary, natural and technical sciences. The aim of the event is to increase knowledge and exchange the outcomes and observations under the supervision of Scientific Council of the Conference.
