Candidates eligible for the qualification process include those:- Holding a relevant diploma obtained in the Polish education system:
- first-cycle diploma in finance and accounting
- first-cycle diploma in economics
- first-cycle diploma in management - Holding a diploma requiring verification of alignment of learning outcomes:
- a diploma from another related first-cycle study program or long-cycle master's studies obtained in the Polish education system, or
- a foreign diploma (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in finance and accounting or related field of study entitling the holder to apply for second-cycle studies in the country of issue.
Method of verifying the alignment of learning outcomes: Competency test. Candidates who obtain a positive result of the competency test are taken into account for further qualification.
Candidates whose English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level has been confirmed through the acceptance of an uploaded language certificate in the IRK or through an interview verifying English language proficiency at the same level are eligible for the qualification process.
Candidates who meet the above requirements are qualified based on the arithmetic average of all final grades from the subjects included in the program of completed studies. The result, based on which the ranking list is created, is the product of the aforementioned average and the alignment coefficient.

Opis kierunku
Students in the Finance and Accounting program gain advanced knowledge in finance and accounting, the functioning of financial institutions and banks, and skills in analysing basic economic phenomena and economic and financial situations of economic entities. A graduate of the second-cycle studies in Finance and Accounting understands in an advanced manner the causes and effects of economic phenomena at the macro- and microeconomic levels in the conditions of an open market economy. They can use theoretical knowledge in an advanced manner, select appropriate methods and tools, and acquire data for formulating and analysing simple and complex economic and financial processes and phenomena, including those related to the food economy. Graduates can critically analyse, evaluate, and interpret economic phenomena, indicate their consequences, and formulate economic and financial policy recommendations. They can effectively communicate with the environment using financial terminology and engage in discussions on economic issues by presenting arguments and evaluating the positions of other participants. They can organise their work, cooperate, and work in a team, including interdisciplinary teams, assuming various roles. They know the need for independent supplementation and improvement of acquired knowledge in finance and accounting. Graduates are prepared for professional work in enterprises, public and non-governmental organisations, including financial institutions. In addition, graduates find employment in operational and managerial positions in companies of various industries, consulting agencies, and non-profit organisations. A distinguishing feature of graduates of this field is their fluent knowledge of the specifics of companies and economic entities operating in the finance sector in the broadly understood agribusiness sector.
