On 10 June 2025, representatives of the European Science Alliance for Agriculture and Food (ESAAF) met with officials from the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission (DG AGRI) in Brussels. The purpose of the meeting was to explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation between ESAAF and the European Board on Agriculture and Food (EBAF), which operates under the leadership of the Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr Christophe Hansen.

The latest Times Higher Education (THE) ranking, which evaluates higher education institutions worldwide, once again recognises the best academic institutions in education, research and innovation. The ranking structure uses a variety of criteria, such as quality of education, research impact, number of citations, international collaboration and innovation output.

The SGGW academic community jointly planted the first pocket forest on the university campus on 2 October 2024.

The latest World's Top 2% Scientists 2023 ranking, which identifies the world's most influential researchers, lists 13 University of Life Sciences (SGGW) researchers. This is a significant increase compared to last year, when ten SGGW researchers appeared on the list. This year's list includes a group of young researchers whose dynamic careers and significant scientific contributions have been recognised internationally. That fact proves that new generations of SGGW scientists and their work are already influential globally.

The 2nd Conference of European Universities organised by FRSE was an opportunity to provide UNIgreen with multi-dimensional focus.

In the latest QS World University Rankings 2025, SGGW was ranked in the 12-17th location among 23 Polish universities included in this year's edition. In the overall ranking, SGGW maintained its current position.
