Foreign Diplomas - requirements
Candidates with a foreign higher education diploma issued in the education system of a country other than:
- European Union (EU) member state,
- member state of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD),
- member state of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area,
- country covered by an international agreement on the mutual recognition of education
i.e.: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands (Holland), Germany, Norway, New Zealand, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, United States, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkiye, Ukraine, Hungary, Great Britain, Italy
upload to IRK a written information about the diploma issued by the the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) director. Decision must confirm the right to apply for admission to second-cycle studies in Poland.
Written information about the diploma must include the following information, among others: the name and surname of the diploma holder, the number of the document confirming the identity of the diploma holder and the diploma number.
An application for such information should be submitted to the NAWA via the SYRENA system.
The candidate presents a written information about the diploma issued by the the NAWA director during the recruitment process. In case of lack of this document, an administrative decision on the admission of a foreigner to studies cannot be issued.
Recognition Statement printed from the KWALIFIKATOR system, are not accepted by the university.
