Opis kierunku
The field of study covers a wide range of knowledge related to the health of plants in horticultural and agricultural crops as well as urban greenery. It was created to educate specialists prepared to implement the EU directive introducing the obligation to apply the principles of integrated pest management by all professional users of plant protection products. The student education offer is adapted to the needs of the dynamically changing labor market. The study program covers the following topics: agroecology, pathogenic microorganisms, plant morphology and anatomy, plant physiology, mineral nutrition and plant physiological diseases, entomological and phytopathological diagnostics, plant protection products and biocides, integrated protection of plants against pests, diseases and weeds, combating organisms harmful to ecological crops, ecotoxicology and environmental protection, plant diseases in urban areas, urban entomology and phytopathology, pests and pathogens of sanitary importance, agrotechnics as a source of stress for plants, plant protection technology, plant protection law, ecological infrastructure of farms, biostimulators in plant protection, horticultural plants in phytoremediation.

• education, in plant health and seed inspection inspectorates and EU agencies supervising the integrated pest management system,
