8th Student Scientific Conference of the Euroleague for Life Sciences Universities (ELLS)
The 8th Student Scientific Conference of the Euroleague for Life Sciences Universities (ELLS), organized by L’Institut Agro, will take place on 6-7 November 2026 in Montpellier, France.
This year’s edition, ELLS SSC 2026, organized by students as part of the ELSA initiative, will focus on the theme: “Sustainable Life Sciences – What Is the Role of ELLS in the Future?”
Who can submit an abstract?
The conference is open to Bachelor’s and Master’s students, as well as first-year PhD students, whose research focuses on life sciences, agriculture, the environment, food systems, sustainability, or related fields.

Submission Guidelines
- Account: To submit an abstract, you must create an account on the platform.
- Title: Maximum 30 words. Capital letters should only be used where appropriate.
- Subtopic: Please select the relevant thematic track.
- Keywords: Please provide 3 to 5 keywords describing your work.
- Abstract: The abstract should be 200–300 words long (excluding the title and authors’ names). Tables, graphs, photographs, etc. are not permitted. Please bear in mind that reviewers and attendees may not be specialists in your particular field, so excessive use of highly specialized terminology should be avoided.
- Authors: Please provide the full name of the main author and any co-authors (maximum 5 people). For collaborative projects, only one person will be able to present the results during the conference. Please indicate the presenter and identify the participants who will attend the event as audience members.
- Presentation preference: Please indicate your preferred presentation format (oral presentation or poster). The final decision will be made by the Scientific Committee.
