Apostille and legalization

On 1 February 2018 The National Agency for Academic Exchange has taken over the competences related to the authentication of documents issued by Polish universities subordinate to individual ministers before obtaining the legalization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On the same day, NAWA also acquired from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the competence to issue an apostille clause on Polish higher education diplomas, postgraduate certificates, certificates of completion of higher education and diplomas on the award of degrees in science and art.
