Between 29 November and 1 December 2022 a group of SGGW representatives participated in the international scientific conference "Human rights in the teachings of John Paul II" organized by the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and Roma Tre University in Rome. The visit was connected with the 20th anniversary of the conferment of the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences to John Paul II.

The eighth edition of the international conference for leaders in university management – LUMEN 2022. The conference was held in the online formula and will be combined with an award ceremony for Polish universities classified in the most prestigious ranking of universities in the world – THE World University Rankings 2022.

An intelligent research infrastructure will be located at the SGGW Experimental Forest District in Rogów, allowing remote management and detailed crop monitoring, as a result of the cooperation between the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and T-Mobile Polska.

The US Ambassador to Poland, Mr. Mark Brzeziński, paid an official visit to SGGW. The historical ties between our university and the USA as well as the current scientific cooperation with American universities were discussed during the meeting with the SGGW authorities.
