Gathering of Chancellors and Bursars of Warsaw universities

On 27 April 27 2022, a meeting of Chancellors and Bursars of public universities associated with the Conference of Rectors of Warsaw Universities took place at SGGW. The meeting was organized on the initiative of the SGGW Chancellor, dr. inż. Władysław W. Skarżyński, under the patronage and participation of the SGGW Rector, prof. dr hab. Michał Zasada. It was also attended by the Vice-Chancellors: Bursar -mgr Anna Kamińska, Economic Development Director – mgr Wojciech Motelski,  Infrastructure Management Director – dr inż. Arkadiusz Gruchała.

The gathering was attended by representatives of thirteen universities, and brought back the tradition of Warsaw universities chancellors and bursars assembly. It gave an opportunity to establish new contacts, exchange experiences in terms of public universities administration and finance management. The main issues discussed were, as follows: rising costs of university functioning in terms of price increases, assumed values of subsidies for 2022, new university obligations regarding the central register of contracts,  as well as the university functioning in relation to the announced alert levels.
