The Warsaw University of Life Sciences is the oldest agricultural and natural science university in the country, which dates back to 1816. The school is a thriving academic center, enjoying recognition and unflagging interest among young people and teaching staff at home and abroad, valued for their care for the quality of education, faithfulness to the best university traditions, openness to changes and dynamic development.
The university offers 38 study programs (including 8 conducted in English): from natural and technical, to veterinary, social and economic studies, and educates nearly 18,000 students in full-time, part-time, doctoral and post-graduate studies as well as international student exchange.
Modern research centers, laboratories and laboratories at our disposal, as well as the presence of outstanding experts, allow us to educate and conduct research at a global level and transfer results to the economy, which has an impact on innovation and progress, among others in agriculture, food economy or medicine and contributes to the growing importance of Polish science in the world.
Our head office is located in Warsaw’s Ursynów, but we also have external units that allow for research and experimental work, practice and field exercises, as well as picturesquely situated leisure centers, which are a great place to organize conferences, scientific and creative meetings and leisure for our employees and students.
