Confirmed knowledge of English (certificate of English language at least level B2 or maturity exam in English language at an Advanced level with result at least 60%, or a document confirming completion of the high school with programme in English as language of instruction)
Candidates applying for admission to studies in the English language, who are not in the possession of a B2 level English language proficiency certificate, approved by WULS can confirm their knowledge of the language by taking an English language interview organized by the University. You can apply for an interview when registering for studies at IRK.

Description of direction
It is a multidisciplinary field of study – it combines issues from several fields, both natural and technical. Classes are conducted by lecturers from various departments of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Some subjects are taught by two or even three academic teachers, which enriches the content of the issues presented.
The study program includes:
1st degree studies: cell biology, organic chemistry, genetics, plant, animal and microbial physiology, genetic engineering, cell and tissue cultures, biophysics, microbiology
general, plant, veterinary, reproductive immunology, design in AutoCAD.
SECOND CYCLE STUDIES: statistics and experimentation, functional and structural genomics, biosensors, control and analysis of biotechnological processes, bioethics, genetic improvement of plants, selected issues in molecular biology of plants, genetic improvement of animals, biotechnology of gametes and embryos, methods of microbiological diagnostics of food, starter cultures
in the food industry, chemistry of natural compounds, basics of pharmacology and pharmacy, molecular evolution, the use of biotechnology in the diagnosis of animal diseases, food additives.
Depending on the level of studies, students can broaden their knowledge of the following topics:
• biotechnology in the production and protection of animal health,
• biotechnology in plant production,
• biotechnology in the food industry.
