recruitment items:
Studies conducted in polish language.Detailed information on recruitment is available on the Polish version of the website.
recruitment:
- 1st degree engineer diploma in the field of construction;- engineering diploma of another related first-cycle field of study, for which the learning outcomes are consistent with the outcomes expected from candidates; if this coincidence is incomplete, the student will be required to fill in the competency gaps by completing the subjects indicated during the interview, to the extent not exceeding 30 ECTS, which is the limit of the acceptable discrepancy;
- in the case of the number of candidates exceeding the admission limit, first degree graduates (based on the average grade for 1st cycle studies) will be admitted to graduates of the 1st degree studies in construction, and second degree (based on the average grade from 1st cycle studies), graduates of other fields
- for candidates for specialization conducted in English: diploma of first degree studies in the field of construction or a related field and confirmation of the knowledge of English at a minimum level of B2

Description of direction
The studies are technical with elements of natural science. The scope of the issues covered includes:
• general construction: design and construction of residential, public utility, agricultural and communication facilities,
• hydrotechnical engineering: small water structures (damming structures, earth dams, embankments),
• technical communication infrastructure (roads, bridges) and storage yards, municipal and industrial waste landfills,
• organization and management of construction companies.
The study program includes:
FIRST CYCLE STUDIES: mathematics, physics, geology, hydraulics, theoretical mechanics, material strength, structure mechanics, soil mechanics, building physics, building materials, basics of structure design, investment process management, general construction, earth and tunnel construction, metal, reinforced concrete, communication , hydrotechnical.
SECOND CYCLE STUDIES: theory of elasticity and plasticity, rock mechanics and underground construction, spatial planning, complex concrete and metal structures, water construction, management of construction projects. After completing the relevant internships, graduates may apply for the license to manage construction works and to design without restrictions in the following specializations: construction – building, bridge, road, railway in the field of railway buildings, engineering, hydrotechnical and demolition, and to a limited extent in the specialization installation in the field of heating, ventilation, gas, water and sewage networks, installations and devices as well as for limited design in the architectural specialty.
Depending on the level and form of studies, students can broaden their knowledge of the following topics:
• structures,
• geotechnics,
• hydrotechnical construction,
• Engineering Infrastructure (specialization in English).
Career prospects
Graduates may undertake work:
• designer and contractor of investments in the field of general construction, hydrotechnical, bridge, road, rail (infrastructure facilities),
• in administration and local governments,
• in scientific and research institutions and in education,
• in building materials distribution facilities.
