recruitment:
- diploma of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, the engineer of the 1st degree studies in the field of spatial management;- 1st degree engineer diploma in the field of spatial management from other universities or an engineer diploma from another related 1st degree course for which the learning outcomes are consistent with the results expected from candidates if the convergence is incomplete, the student will be required to fill in the competency gaps by completing the subjects indicated during the interview, in the amount not exceeding 30 ECTS; which is the limit of acceptable discrepancy;
- in the case of the number of candidates exceeding the limit of admissions, first-cycle graduates will be admitted in the first place (based on the average grade for first-cycle studies) with the total convergence of learning outcomes expected from candidates, for the remaining candidates the average of the first-cycle studies is an additional criterion.

Description of direction
Studies in this field at SGGW are interdisciplinary – their program covers issues from several fields and scientific disciplines. These are social sciences (socio-economic geography and spatial planning, economics, and management and quality sciences); engineering and technical sciences (architecture and urban planning, civil and environmental engineering); agricultural sciences (forestry sciences, agriculture and horticulture) and exact and natural sciences (earth and environmental sciences). Among other directions, spatial management at SGGW is distinguished by activities aimed at shaping space and sustainable development of non-urbanized areas. Graduates have knowledge and skills in the field of geodesy and cartography, spatial planning, land and other real estate management, planning the development of technical and social infrastructure in a sustainable economy, mitigating regional differences in the level of the economy and the quality of life of the population, environmental renewal and eco-development, formulating the principles of spatial policy at all levels of management, cooperation of local and government administration, cooperation with European regions. Graduates are able to use the tools and software used in the practice of the above-mentioned areas. Good practical preparation during fieldwork and internships in local government administration offices as well as a wide range of issues learned allow them to successfully compete on the labor market.
Depending on the level and form of studies, students can broaden their knowledge of:
• spatial planning,
• geomatics and space management,
• planning of technical infrastructure,
• property management.

• commune offices, starosties and marshal offices, in particular in units dealing with development coordination, promotion, communal property, investment preparation, communal management, environmental protection, land management and recreation,
• in government administration offices and government agency offices,
• design and consulting offices working for local government units,
• enterprises affecting the environment and using its resources,
• planning offices operating in the field of spatial planning, forestry, nature and environmental protection,
• real estate companies.
