Recruitment calendar – second cycle studies (Master’s degree), full-time programmes starting in the winter semester 2025/2026

STUDIES CONDUCTED IN ENGLISH

Spring Phase 1

Recruitment is carried out for the following fields of study:

Environmental Engineering (Modern Engineering in Water Management – (KATAMARAN)
Environmental Protection (Restoration and Management of Environment)
Finance and Accounting
Food Science – Technology and Nutrition
Informatics and Econometrics (Big Data Analytics)
Sustainable Horticulture
Forest Information Technology

April 18, 2025	from 00:00 am	Start of registration in the Internet Recruitment of Candidates (IRK) system: select the form and program of study
May 04, 2025	until 11:59 pm	Last day of registration in IRK: select the form and program of study This is also the deadline for: admission fee payment upload a digital photo upload scans of international higher education diploma upload scans of diploma Transcript of Grades * upload a scan of written NAWA information about the diploma – not applicable for diplomas issued in UE, OECD, EFTA and Ukraine, China and Libya upload scan of legalization or apostille of foreign diploma – not applicable for diplomas issued in UE, OECD, EFTA and Ukraine, China and Libya upload scans of English language proficiency certificates complete the enrolment form data, including the student’s arithmetic mean of all final grades in the subjects covered by the study program
May 7 – 8, 2025	08:00 am – 04:00 pm	Exam checking the knowledge of the English language – applies to candidates applying for studies in English, who do not have a language certificate honored by SGGW. Interviews will be conducted online via MS Teams platform.
May 9, 2025	10:00 am – 12:00 pm	Competency test dedicated to candidates applying for: Finanace and accounting – programme in English
May 15, 2025	until 10:00 pm	Announcement of the qualification results (in the IRK system)
May 19 – 23, 2025	09:00 am – 03:00 pm	Documents’ delivery to SGGW from the selected candidates. Candidates qualified for admission who do not submit documents within the prescribed period are treated as persons resigning from participation in recruitment.

*) The Diploma Transcript of Grades is uploaded by the candidates:

– with a foreign diploma of graduation entitling to undertake second-cycle studies (the transcript of grades should be uploaded with a sworn translation into Polish if the diploma was issued in a language other than English),

– has a diploma of completion of studies in a field other than the one for which is applying.

July 14 – 16, 2025	08:00 am – 04:00 pm	Exam checking the knowledge of the English language – applies to candidates applying for studies in English, who do not have a language certificate honored by SGGW. Interviews will be conducted online via MS Teams platform.
July 22, 2025	until 10:00 pm	Announcement of the qualification results (in the IRK system)
July 23 – 31, 2025 (exept Saturday and Sunday)	09:00 am – 03:00 pm	Documents’ delivery to SGGW from the selected candidates. Candidates qualified for admission who do not submit documents within the prescribed period are treated as persons resigning from participation in recruitment.
August 08, 2025	after 06:00 pm	Announcement of the number of vacancies in given study programs to be available in Phase 3 (supplementary recruitment)
