SGGW develops international cooperation with Iraq

The visit of the delegation from Cihan University-Erbil was an opportunity to explore the perspectives of development for both universities. During the meeting, the possibilities of conducting joint research and academic exchange were discussed. On 8 May 2023, the meeting was attended by:

• Prof. dr hab. Michał Zasada, Rector of SGGW
• Dr. hab. Marta Mendel, Prof. SGGW, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation 
• Katarzyna Specjalska, Head of the International Relations Office
• Prof. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil
• Dr. Maysoon Tahir Al-Haideri,  Vice-President for Scientific Affairs of Cihan University-Erbil
• Dr. Salih Mustafa Salih Zebari, Director of the International Relations Office, Head of Nutrition and Dietetics Department of Cihan University-Erbil

The meeting was an opportunity to develop preliminary agreements regarding joint research and academic teaching.

Cihan University-Erbil educates over 5,000 students in 20 faculties. The mission of Cihan University is to provide young people with knowledge and learning skills so that they can meet the challenges of modern times.
