Classes at SGGW for all levels and forms of education are conducted in a mixed mode, i.e. in traditional and remote form.
The summer semester of the 2020/2021 academic year is ahead of us. The prognosis for the coronavirus outbreak clearly shows that we still have to wait before students return to campus for good. Considering the health and safety of the academic community of our Alma Mater as a priority, we provide the latest information on the organization of education in the coming semester.
The remote form of conducting classes recommended by the Warsaw University of Life Sciences is a remote form.
The method of conducting classes, credits and exams in a traditional or remote form is determined by:
1) dean – in relation to:
and. didactic activities carried out by students,
b. classes at postgraduate studies – in consultation with the head of postgraduate studies,
C. other forms of education provided at the faculty,
2) head of a doctoral school – in relation to classes carried out at the Doctoral School of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences,
3) the head of doctoral studies – in relation to classes carried out in doctoral studies started before the 2019/2020 academic year,
4) Rector’s Plenipotentiary for Open University of Warsaw University of Life Sciences – in relation to classes at the Open University of Warsaw University of Life Sciences,

All lectures are held remotely.
Classes in the traditional form are limited to the necessary minimum. In the traditional form, classes may be conducted at the WULS-SGGW facilities that cannot be carried out remotely, i.e .:
practical classes, in particular laboratory and clinical ones, which require direct meetings between the teacher and the participants of these classes or access to specialized equipment and apparatus.
apprenticeships that require direct meetings of the teacher with participants of these classes or access to specialized laboratories,
classes (apart from lectures) provided for in the study program for students of the last year of first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies and long-cycle studies, for whom the summer semester is the last semester of studies.
Diploma exams are mainly held remotely . Traditional diploma examinations may be conducted on the basis of the dean’s decision.
Consultations with academic teachers take place mainly remotely (on fixed and published dates). Traditional consultations may take place in compliance with the rules of the sanitary regime.
