The UNIgreen Innovation Challenge is launching – a competition aimed at students and graduates of universities belonging to the UNIgreen Alliance, designed to support innovative projects in the field of green transformation.
UNIgreen is an alliance of eight European universities that jointly develop education, research, and innovation in areas related to sustainable agriculture, biotechnology, and environmental and life sciences. More information about the UNIgreen Alliance.
The UNIgreen Innovation Challenge offers students and graduates the opportunity to develop their own ideas, test new solutions, and collaborate within an international academic environment.
Projects submitted to the competition may focus on, among others:
biochemistry and biotechnology
sustainable crop production
food technology, food quality, and safety
biodiversity, forestry, and agroecology
the One Health concept
bioeconomy, agricultural policy, and rural development
plant breeding
environmental management and climate change
Schedule
by March 16 – competition announcement
by April 9 – submission deadline
by April 15 – selection of the top 5 projects by the jury
by May 8 – project mentoring phase
by May 18 – final of the competition and selection of the two best projects
