Central Dean’s Office – all student matters in one place
The Central Dean’s Office is the first place to contact if you have questions or need support with matters related to your studies. The Central Dean’s Office team assists students with administrative matters, study-related procedures, document issuance, and contact with the Vice-Dean.
Where can you find Central Dean’s Office?
The Central Dean’s Office is located in the SGGW Library building, Entrance C from Nowoursynowska Street, near the SGGW – Biblioteka 01 bus stop.
What can you take care of at the Central Dean’s Office? You can contact us if you need to:
- obtain a new student ID card
- obtain a certificate
- submit an application
- resume your studies
- clarify questions concerning fees
- apply for a leave of absence
You do not need to know all the procedures yourself, we will help you determine what needs to be done and where to direct your request.
When should you contact us? Get in touch with the Central Dean’s Office when:
- you have a question concerning student matters
- you do not understand something
- you have encountered a problem
- you need a document
- you are not sure what procedure to follow
Do not wait until the last day. The earlier you contact us, the easier it will be to find a solution.

Not sure where to take care of your matter?
Not all student matters are handled by the Central Dean’s Office. Student Affairs Office handles scholarships and insurance; matters concerning international exchanges and mobility are handled by the International Cooperation Office; and student residences are managed by the Administration of Student Residences and Canteens. Internships, placements and career support are handled by the Career Office, while technical issues and IT systems are managed by the IT Centre. Psychological support is provided by the Psychological Support and Assistance Centre.
If you are not sure which unit to contact ask us – we will direct you to the right place. Not all staff at the Central Dean’s Office speak English, but we know who does.
