Conflict resolution system
Stages of conflict resolution:
- Appointment by the SGGW Doctoral Students’ Council of a University Ombudsperson for Doctoral Students’ Rights, to whom there is possibility to turn in the event of a conflict.
- Attempts to resolve the conflict within the doctoral student community through the appointed Ombudsperson and the Doctoral Students’ Council.
- In more difficult cases, the Ombudsperson presents the matter to the Director of the Doctoral School, who attempts to resolve the conflict independently or with the assistance of a discipline
representative who is a member of the Doctoral School Program Council. - If the solution proposed by the Director is not accepted, or in the case of a conflict involving the Director of the Doctoral School, the University Ombudsperson for Doctoral Students’ Rights refers the matter to the Vice-Rector for Science.
- If the conflict cannot be resolved within SGGW, the University Ombudsperson for Doctoral Students’ Rights shall refer the case to the Ombudsperson for Doctoral Students’ Rights operating
within the National Representation of Doctoral Students.
