18th Scientific Student Conference of Euroleague for of Life Sciences Universities (ELLS)

ELSA Student-led event, ELLS SSC 2026’s main theme is
Sustainable Life Sciences: What ELLS for the Future? As part of this international academic event, we warmly invite students to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations.

This is a valuable opportunity to present your research, exchange ideas with international scholars, and become part of the ELLS Universities alliance. We strongly encourage you to take part in this enriching international experience and contribute to the academic discussions around Sustainable Life Sciences and look forward to receiving your abstracts.

Who can apply?

Bcs, Master’s and first year PhD students whose research relates to life sciences, agriculture, environment, food systems, sustainability, or related disciplines.

Submission Guidelines:

• Account: to submit your abstract, you must first create an account on the platform.
  
• Title: Maximum 30 words are allowed. Use capital letters only when absolutely necessary.
• Subtheme: Please select a suitable subtheme /track for your abstract.
• Keywords: Between 3 and 5 keywords are required, describing your work.
• Abstract text: The text must be at least 200 words and cannot exceed 300 words, excluding the title and name(s) of author(s). Tables, graphics, photos, etc. are not allowed.Observe that the reviewers and the audience is not necessarily experts in your field, therefore you should try to avoid being overly technical in your abstract.
• Authors: Enter your first and last names (and possibly additional authors. A maximum of 5 authors is allowed). If there is more than one author for your project, please be aware that only one person will be able to present during the conference. Choose who will present and who will attend the ELLS SSC 2026 as an audience.
• Presentation preferences: Please indicate your preference in this step. You can choose between an oral or poster presentation. The Scientific Committee will make the final decision.
