Prof. Dorota Witrowa-Rajchert was elected Chair of the Committee on Food and Nutrition Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences

At the first session to mark the new term of the Committee on Food and Nutrition Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. dr hab. Dorota Witrowa-Rajchert, a staff member of the Institute of Food Science of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), was elected the Committee chairperson, whereas prof. dr hab. Ewa Jakubczyk, also representing the Institute of Food Science, SGGW, was elected Scientific Secretary

EBU meeting at SGGW

SGGW maintains a high position in the latest edition of QS World University Rankings 2025

In the latest QS World University Rankings 2025, SGGW was ranked in the 12-17th location among 23 Polish universities included in this year's edition. In the overall ranking, SGGW maintained its current position.

Warsaw University of Life Sciences’ solid position in the latest edition of the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking

SGGW has made significant progress in the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. In the overall ranking, the university was positioned in the 801-1000 (compared to last year’s position in the 1001+ range). SGGW was ranked highest under Goal 17: Partnerships for Purpose, taking a 101-200 position (Gdansk University of Technology and University of Gdansk were also ranked within the same range)
