The Warsaw University of Life Sciences actively participates in the General Assembly, Forum, and Scientific Conference of ELLS students.
From 13 to 15 November, the General Assembly, Forum and Student Scientific Conference of the European ELLS network are taking place in Uppsala, Sweden.
ELLS brings together leading universities collaborating in the fields of natural resource management, agricultural and forestry sciences, biological sciences, animal sciences, food sciences, environmental sciences and rural development, including agricultural economics and rural sociology.

On October 28, 2025, Prof. Tomasz Okruszko, Vice-Rector for Research at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), delivered a lecture titled “Rewetting Europe: Policy, Science and Practice for a Resilient Future.”

New Chancellor of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences
As of 1 October 2025, following a competitive selection process and in accordance with the decision of the Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, the position of Chancellor of SGGW has been assumed by Dr. Arkadiusz Gruchała.
The Warsaw University of Life Sciences continues its educational cooperation in Tanzania. As part of the Polish Aid programme, university staff conduct training courses for teachers and technical personnel of the Livestock Training Agency in Tengeru, supporting the development of competences in the field of milk processing safety and technology.

SGGW to host Polonia Camp 2025 – World Meeting of Young Poles
A thousand young people of Polish descent from around the world came to the SGGW campus to take part in Polonia Camp 2025, the first World Meeting of Young Poles Abroad.
